Divine Gospel Missions
Since 1992
We are a disciple making church that believes in evangelism and training new converts to grow into mature Disciples of Jesus Christ. We welcome all people to our family and believe that every person has potential to add value to the work of God. Divine Gospel Missions started in 1992 by a group of youth who used to travel 12 km to preach the gospel in the remote areas of Gayaza. It started as a fellowship in a small room at a school and as more people joined the fellowship, the room became too small for the numbers and this called for a small church to be constructed. As numbers grew, it was necessary for a resident pastor to be ordained so he could disciple the new believers. When the lead Pastor asked the youth who was willing to disciple the believers, it was only Pastor Robert who showed interest and this is how he became Pastor of Divine Gospel Missions Church to date. He has undergone training and set up leadership structures in the ministry. Through our community outreach, a new branch was opened in Katikamu Nama Mukono District. Pastor Robert is married to Moureen and together they have four children.
Mission
We visualize a church that turns the hearts of youth and families to God and each other, developing our God-given potential in order to win in every area of our lives. Advancing the Kingdom of God, first throughout our circles of influence, then the nations abroad. We visualize a diverse church where all age groups, ethnicities and tribes feel welcome and freely receive the gift of salvation. We see changed communities that continue to unite through sharing and caring for one another as Christ commanded us to love one another. We visualize a vibrant youth fellowship that transforms young people through preaching the gospel in innovative ways that establish them in the word of God, teaching and admonishing others to live lives that are holy and acceptable before God. We visualize a church that establishes more churches in remote areas of the country and all over the world so that every convert will get a chance to fellowship with other believers, receive training and mentorship to also train and mentor others until the Great commission is finished. In other words, we see every member of the church going therefore and making disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that Jesus commanded us

The purpose of Luteete Divine Gospels’ Church is to glorify God by producing and developing disciples, as prescribed in God’s Word, through worship, teaching , fellowship , and evangelism

The most important aspect of our church is the product we produce. That product is a mature, growing disciple. We define a disciple as a growing Christian who is becoming more like Christ by being established in the disciplines of God’s word, prayer, fellowship, and witnessing
